Thiessen Music Policies and InformationPayment: Payments are accepted via Venmo, CashApp, checks, or cash. Payments is due at the first of the month before the lesson.
Cancellations/no shows: Each student has a reserved lesson time, and is responsible for that time. If you cancel a lesson within twenty-four hours, I will do my best to fit you in for a makeup schedule permitting. Students are responsible to pay for lessons canceled without twenty-four hours notice. No refund will be given for no-shows or tardiness. If a student does not show up within the first fifteen minutes of the lesson, I will assume it is a no show unless I hear from you otherwise. If I have to cancel a lesson, I will make it up or refund the lesson. If there is a snow day, lessons will be virtual. Practice Time: Students need a daily, non-interrupted time to practice. Time will vary according to teacher assignments and student levels. Parental Involvement: Parents are encouraged to observe lessons. Parental support is crucial to the success of each student. The assignment notebook is our means of weekly communication about expectations, assignments, scheduling reminders, and progress. |
